NCS was our common point. It has been two years since our internship. Those days were spent vigorously testing whatever system we were assigned to. Every lunch was spent at the foos-ball table, I think we spent like $10 per person while we were there. After some long email planning, we finally met for lunch at Vila’ge, which kicked Marche out of its place in Heeren. Talk about being ill-informed, I didn’t even know that Marche was gone.
Everyone’s doing quite well now. One of us is about to receive a master in logistics, 2 are working in an Investment bank, 2 just came back from NUS NOC. Wow Its just been a year apart but you can tell that both Silicon Valley and the Europe NOC have really changed their outlook of life. Jason and Nick are brimming with entrepreneurship and you can sense that they are raring to go. Need to hang out with them more.
If someone said that I was hungry for success, it really pales in comparison to Jason, henceforth known as the person most likely to make it big in the next five years. I always feel very inspired when I hang around people who thirst for success. I need to make it a point to drop into Jason’s office soon to discuss some ideas. (How cool is that? He even has his own office and funds!)
Most of us have made the transition into the working world. Interestingly both Melvin and another Jason are taking the CFA exams too, now I have someone to ask in case I run into problems. CFA exams are fast becoming a norm for people working in the Industry so I guess its good that I have made up my mind to go for it.
